 RAYMOND KANELBA

We heard recently from one of our subscribers in New York.  Cecilia Kanelba wrote in to tell us that her father-in-law was the artist Raymond Kanelba.  In 1956 he painted a portrait of Queen Elizabeth ll in her uniform as Colonel-in-Chief of the Grenadier Guards.  The portrait was featured in Illustrated and She magazines and below you can see excerpts from those magazines.  The painting is shown below, together with a photo of the artist and his work.
